WINiT 1:1 Mentoring

GBTA WINiT 1:1 Mentoring is a global virtual mentorship program designed for passionate and talented professionals in the business travel industry. It connects a cohort of mentees from around the globe with accomplished industry veterans committed to helping them navigate their careers.

Over the course of six months, mentees and mentors will meet at least twice a month to maximize their mentoring relationships. At the end, you will have the option to pause or continue your relationship. Both mentees and mentors must be GBTA members.

Our WINiT Mentor Match program reflects our commitment to you and your professional development. This unique online networking and career development tool, helps you find, connect, and share experiences with others.

Complete your GBTA Community Profile. Double-check your contact information is up to date, add a recent professional profile picture, expand on your bio, and import your education and job history information from LinkedIn. Having a complete and accurate profile is crucial to the success of selection and matching. Once your profile is complete, return back to this page and continue to step 2.

Make selections for each of the program demographics to set your preferences. Demographics include: professional interests, specialties, career stage, and hobbies (please note: these fields are required for enrollment.) The more information you provide, the easier it will be to make the best match. Keep in mind in order to request a mentor or mentee, you must be enrolled in the program. 

Mentees

After you have completed your profile, you can begin to review the profiles of the current Mentors, selecting one who most aligns with your career and skill development goals. Please complete this step by the date specified in the application. Use the suggested match widget on this page when your profile is complete. Choosing a Mentor is your responsibility. You will not move forward in the program until you have selected your Mentor.

Mentors

Once you have completed your profile, you will be notified when you have been selected by a Mentee. In the meantime, you will be receiving regular updates from our WINiT Mentoring Committee.

Connect

Thank you for completing the steps to participate in the GBTA Foundation's WINiT 1:1 Mentoring Program. Once you have been matched with your Mentor or Mentee, we will reach out with an invite to your Cohort Kickoff Call.
